Leaders In Training: PSESD’s Student Internship Program

PSESD continues to build our capacity to create meaningful, transformative opportunities to integrate student leadership roles across our agency in service to our END, Success for Each Child and Eliminate the Opportunity Gap by Leading with Racial Equity. LIT (Leaders In Training) is PSESD’s student internship program.

This year, we have funded 20 paid student positions and are currently seeking PSESD teams to co-develop and host one or more interns this summer. Please join us for an information session January 23 from 3-4pm in the Puyallup Room. During the session you will:

  • Hear from students about the impact of Leaders in Training
  • Learn more about the supports for PSESD staff and interns
  • Get support crafting an internship project or deciding if hosting an intern is right for your team

For more information, please contact Sarita or Cassandra. You can also contact members of the LIT Advisory (Jeannette Belaski, Marques Gittens, Aurora Huerta, Kyla Lackie, and Cheryl Lydon).

This is a great opportunity to learn and lead!
