Update: Your Premera Vision Plan
Good news – the vision plan you have through the Premera Education Program has been expanded!
You now have a larger choice of vision care providers and enhanced benefits, including increased coverage for in-network frames and contact lenses.
Another key difference is that the vision plan is administered by Premera Blue Cross, not EyeMed. That means you need only one Premera ID card and one customer service number. You should destroy any EyeMed ID cards you might have.
You’ll find details about the enhanced vision plan in the document linked above. These benefit highlights will be available in your member account on www.premera.com starting November 20.
If you don’t have a member account on www.premera.com, please set up one today. To register, go to www.premera.com , select Log in from the top right corner, then chose Member. Select Create a new account now and follow the instructions.
The best way for you to verify if your vision care provider is in-network is to log in to your member account on www.premera.com and then select Find a Doctor from the menu. You can also contact Premera Education Program Customer Service at 855-756-0798.
During this transition period, if your Premera vision provider needs to verify eligibility and benefits, please have them call Premera Customer Service at 855-756-0798.
