The Giving Committee in partnership with the Learning Communities Foundation, will be working with the Communications department to run an event on August 28th from 2:00-3:30 pm in the first floor lobby area. The event will be an opportunity for staff to:
Donate new school supplies/items that will go directly to the teachers and classrooms at Educare (a list of suggested items will be provided)
Donate non-perishable items for the food pantry
Learn about the different ways we can give back to families in need
Participate in fun, back to school themed activities (school picture guessing game, outdoor games, and much more) & enjoy a refreshing summer treat (ice cream, popsicles, etc.)!
Those who donate items and/or participate in these FUNdraising activities will get their names entered into a prize drawing that happens every 10 mins during the event!
We want to encourage offsite locations to participate in this event & will provide supplies and coordinate transportation of any donations received – contact Krissy for details! This is a wonderful opportunity to support some of the children and families we serve, ensuring a great start to a successful school year.
