United Way Workplace Giving Campaign: January 11 – February 1, 2019
Are you ready to give?
We hope you were able to grab some popcorn in the lobby to help us kick-off our United Way Workplace Giving Campaign! Our goal this year is ambitious: to have 100+ new and returning givers. We’re confident that we can come together during the next three weeks to support our communities. Will you join us?
You have the option of donating electronically or through a paper pledge form. You can donate at this link. I hope you join me this year in making a gift to support our community!
When you give your time or money to United Way or to the Learning Communities Foundation, you’re helping to transform the lives of children, teens, adults, and families in our neighborhoods. Over the course of the year, your weekly gift can create an impact that lasts a lifetime. Here are some of the ways your donation will work in our communities:
$5 – Buys a year’s worth of educational books and toys for a low-income family
$10 – Pays for 20 infants to have annual screenings and make sure they are on track for key developmental milestones
$20 – Supports families facing the emotional impacts and unique challenges of parenting a child with special needs
Charitable giving is a personal decision, and everything that United Way does is possible because of the generosity of people who are willing to use their money to invest in their communities. You’re able to give to any 501 (c)(3) non-profit through our United Way campaign, so whether you donate to United Way, to the Learning Communities Foundation, or to another non-profit organization, every dollar matters. Pledges will be collected through Friday, February 1st.
Paper pledge forms can be requested through Angela (firstname.lastname@example.org, x7901) or Krissy (email@example.com, x7604), or you can donate to United Way electronically here. For more information or for questions on how you can donate directly to the Learning Communities Foundation, please contact Wenday Armour at firstname.lastname@example.org or x7833. You can drop off your completed pledge forms to Angela, Krissy or Nikki at the front desk of the Renton office. Thank you for giving what you can to help people in need!
