Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum will be the keynote speaker for the WERA conference on December 4-6, 2019. Dr. Tatum is the author of the bestselling book, Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? And Other Conversations About Race, and she has served as President of Spellman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Tatum has won numerous awards for her leadership and scholarship, and we are excited about the connections that she will make to the conference theme.
WERA is a not-for-profit organization of professionals working at all levels of education dedicated to improving the practice of instruction, assessment, evaluation, conducting and applying educational research, and using data to inform instructional decisions.
